void pbl_bt_id_copy_chip_info_string	(	char *	dest,
		size_t	dest_size
	)

Get a human-readable string identifying the Bluetooth chip.

Used by manufacturing for part tracking. The NimBLE backend returns "NimBLE".

Parameters

[out]	dest	Buffer to copy the string into.
	dest_size	Size of `dest` in bytes.

void pbl_bt_id_copy_local_identity_address ( struct pbl_bt_addr * addr_out )

Get the local identity address.

Parameters

[out] addr_out The address.

bool pbl_bt_id_generate_private_resolvable_address ( struct pbl_bt_addr * address_out )

Generate a resolvable private address from the local IRK.

The NimBLE backend returns an all-zero address.

Parameters

[out] address_out The address.

void pbl_bt_id_set_local_device_name ( const char device_name[PBL_BT_DEVICE_NAME_BUFFER_SIZE] )

Set the local device name, served by the GAP service.

Parameters

device_name NUL-terminated name.

Configure the address used on air.

This is not the identity address. Called with bt_lock() held. Does nothing in the NimBLE backend.

Parameters

allow_cycling	true if the controller may cycle the address, which implies no pinning.
pinned_address	Address to use, or NULL for any.
