# <code class="docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">pbl</span> <span class="pre">test</span></code>

Build and run the unit tests on the host. They are a CMake project of their own, configured into `build-test/`; anything `pbl test` does not recognize is passed to ctest.

pbl test --coverage

## Options

```
pbl test [-h] [-b DIR] [--dry-run] [-G GENERATOR] [-C] [--no-images]
         [--build-only]
```

`-G, --generator GENERATOR`

CMake generator (default: Ninja)

`-C, --coverage`

Instrument the tests and write an lcov report

`--no-images`

Skip the image fixtures; only some tests need them

`--build-only`

Build the tests without running
