# Pebble Legal Agreements

This developer site, CloudPebble, the Developer Dashboard and the Pebble appstore are operated by Core Devices LLC. Your use of them is governed by the Core Devices [Terms of Service](https://repebble.com/terms) and [Privacy Policy](https://repebble.com/privacy). The [SDK License](https://developer.repebble.com/legal/sdk-license.md) page states the licenses the Pebble SDK, the `pebble` tool and this site are distributed under:

- The SDK is built from PebbleOS and is distributed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. You can use, modify and redistribute it under that license.
- "Pebble" is a trademark and there are restrictions on how you can use this word in the name and description of your app. See the [Trademark Usage Guidelines](https://developer.repebble.com/legal/pebble-trademark.md) for more details.
- You are responsible for making sure that you have the rights to all the assets (code, images, fonts, etc.) that you include in your applications.
- If you are collecting user, device or location data, or any personally identifiable information, you must get the user's consent first.

To distribute your applications on the Pebble appstore, you will also need to read and agree to the [Pebble Developer Distribution Agreement](https://developer.repebble.com/legal/distribution.md) and the [Pebble Developer Program Policies](https://developer.repebble.com/legal/program-policies.md).

- The applications you submit on the Pebble appstore do not go through a review process, but Core Devices can take down your app at any time if it does not comply with the agreement and the [Developer Program Policies](https://developer.repebble.com/legal/program-policies.md).
- If your app has been taken down and you believe that it should not have been removed, [contact us](https://developer.repebble.com/contact.md).
- In case of repeated takedowns, Core Devices can suspend and bar your developer account.
- You may not distribute apps designed to interfere with, disrupt or damage the user's Pebble or mobile device.
- You authorize Core Devices to use your submission (app binary, screenshots, etc.) to promote Pebble in marketing materials.
